- KUFPEC acquired 33.3% interest in Anoa ‘A’ - Indonesia through farm-in to Gulf’s 100% interest.
- Anoa-1 oil and gas discovery and Anoa-2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 appraisal wells all successful.
1985
- Declaration of commerciality of Amal Field, Gulf of Suez, Egypt.
- Entered Block B, south Sudan.
- Anoa field development agreement signed with PERTAMINA.
1987
- Acquired an interest in the East Shabwa Block, Yemen.
1988
- Acquired an interest in Harriet oilfield, Western Australia.
1989
- Discovered Kadanwari gas field, Pakistan.
1995
- Discovered the Wadi Taribah oilfield, Yemen.
- Discovered the Al Nasr oilfield, Jannah Block, Yemen.
- Oil and Gas Discovery in Wonnich in Australia.
1996
- First Production from Yacheng in China.
- Oil production commenced from the Jannah fields in Yemen.
1997
- Several new Harriet gas sales contracts signed.
