Emergency Medical Evacuation Service:

Emergency Medical Evacuation Service Programme provides assistance services to KUFPEC Head Office and Area Office employees (SOS Card holders only) in case of a serious Medical Condition due to accident &/or sickness whilst abroad on official assignment, including Business Trips / Training / Seminars. Other non-Emergency medical and travel assistance services are also available.

1. Emergency Medical Condition assistance services during business trip:

• Medical Evacuation in case of emergency, due to injury or sickness.
• Companion air ticket to relative who will join member while being hospitalized.
• Repatriation of moral remains and arrangement of local burial.
• Air ticket to return to one’s home country or resume the trip following a medical evacuation.
• Transportation of minor children to home country in the event of illness or injury.

2. Non-Emergency Medical Condition assistance services during trip:

• 24/7 Medical advice over telephone.
• Provide worldwide address and telephone number of physicians, hospitals and clinics.
• Outpatient case management.
• Assistance in obtaining documents for insurance claim.
• Delivery of drugs and medicine.

3. Travel assistance services during trip:

• Emergency message transmission between member and family.
• Emergency translation and interpreter services through telephone.
• Lost documents advice and assistance. (passport, credit cards, etc.).
• Emergency Cash to member.
• Provide address and telephone number of lawyers or legal practitioners

Group Medical Expenses Reimbursement Policy

Group Medical Expenses Reimbursement Policy provides insurance cover for emergency medical expenses in reimbursement claim settlement basis for KUFPEC HO employees during their Business Travel worldwide for official duties or attending conferences / seminars / training courses, subject to terms, conditions and exclusion of the policy.

Its very important to obtain a copy of Medical Claim Form prior to travel, this claim form is to be properly completed and signed by treating Physician in order to proceed with the claim and to be accepted by insurance company.
